A Gulf Worth Bridging a Revived Peace Initiative

A gulf worth bridging

A revived peace initiative will stumble unless Arab states recognise Israel and make rhetoric reality

The Guardian, Tuesday December 9 2008

Introduction:

Ron Prosor, the Israeli Ambassador in London wrote this article in The Guardian,

I, as a Palestinian, trying to defend his un realistic ideas, provided full text of his article and my reply to each paragraph in Italic Bold, which will show the point of views dialogue between the two parties of the Middle East conflict, inorder not to misled the public opinion, it is important to clarify the facification of the Israel’s Zionists:

The Palestinian Authority recently took the unprecedented step of advertising the Arab Peace Initiative in Hebrew, in the Israeli press. Adverts also appeared throughout the international media, including this newspaper. Many Israelis welcomed it as a step in the right direction.

Yet before the world shouts “eureka”, it is important to realise that the Arab initiative cannot be seen as a “take it or leave it” offer. It cannot serve as a diktat, or replace the need for bilateral negotiations, on both the Palestinian and Syrian tracks. The plan is an interesting starting point for negotiations, but the international community should be under no illusions. Elements of the text are a cause for grave concern as regards the survivability of the state of Israel.

(When you are saying this it means that you did not read it, nor you have understood it, the initiative as to my personal knowledge, and as it was clearly described by President Husni Mubarak to the Israeli’s president: (If you gave the Palestinians all their wrights, and they accept if with satisfaction, then we all Arab Countries will recognize you, this means that if you don’t do so, you will be neglected and refused in the Area). This is a complete clear message towards accepting Israel in the Middle East, but to what limit is Israel is interested in its being existed and recognized, that was not shown by Israel until now).

The demand that Palestinians should be able to relocate to areas inside the borders of the state of Israel jeopardises Israel’s very existence. Most Israelis understand and support the creation of a future Palestinian state. It is difficult, however, to understand why Palestinians, having created a state of their own, would subsequently insist on sending their own people to the Jewish state. Instead of demographically undermining the state of Israel, surely Palestinians would be better able to help build their own nation within their own state.

(Why not Palestinians  located in their homes, you came to this Area to live but not to take over the Palestinians Properties, If Palestinians are located in their lands, they will not jeopardize your existence, then if your existence conflicts with their existence, you need to leave the area, until now, Israeli’s Zionists (the New Nazis),  until you are so bad with them, in addition, Israel’s up to the present moment not only Jeopardizes the Palestine state very existences, and prevented it, Israeli’s are killing the Palestinians for nothing with cold Nazi Zionist blood.  Why you still theft their home, giving it to other new immigrant Jews, who in the world could leave his properties to Israeli Jew? , for the other part, Surely, Palestinians can build their homeland better than the Jews, accordingly Israel‘s afraid from them and prevent them doing so!, instead of supporting them. )

Israel’s concern over the future of Jerusalem should also not be underestimated. From time immemorial, Jerusalem has been the eternal capital of the Jewish people, and will always remain so. Meanwhile, the final borders between Israel and a Palestinian state can only be determined bilaterally. The 1967 borders might provide a reference point for negotiations, but the demographic realities and security concerns of Israel’s population must be taken into account.

(The real fact is that the Palestinians concern over Jerusalem is more important than  those of the Israeli’s, 1967 borders might provide reference, but the UN resolution is more reality and Israel is not accepting it, thus Israel not only neglects the Palestinian’s existence but even its it’s existence)

Nevertheless, the revival of interest in the plan, first proposed by the Saudi king in 2002, met with interest in Israel. In contrast, the reception elsewhere in the Middle East ranged from sceptical to hostile. Several Arab papers refused to publish an advert with the Israeli flag. For many, the very notion of Israeli statehood, as represented by our national flag, is still taboo.

(Who is the mad person in the world, that could publish Israeli’s gangs and robber’s flag, and why to publish it, they don’t need you,  nor they need your flag they don’t need your money, because  you are hated by all the Arab world and the Moslem World, and the real Jewish World, the dilemma is clear and simple my friend,  make your behavior good, people will love you, make it worse, people will hate you.)

The Iranian embassy, in a letter to the Guardian, was desperate to clarify its abhorrence for any recognition of “the illegitimate and fabricated Israeli regime”. Iran’s objections should surprise no one. Tehran has long supported the most militant, most violent, least conciliatory elements within Arab populations, such as Hizbullah and Hamas. It is no coincidence the revival of interest in the Arab initiative comes at a time of increased Arab fears about the aggressive policies of the Iranian regime, its extreme ideology and nuclear ambitions.

( Who is the mad person in the world do not clarify and recognizes the “the illegitimate and fabricated Israeli regime”, in addition why not Iran support Palestinians!,  why not Tehran to support Hizbullah and Hamas the harmed party in the conflict, the USA and UK are supporting the Israel’s, the aggressive party, the most criminal party in the history, even more they provide protection and weapons to Israel which are used to kill the Palestinians,  I think You need to look for the issue in your two eyes.!, in addition why not Tehran should have extreme ideology, and nuclear ambition, Israel’s already have it, please acknowledge,  in addition, Palestinians must have a nuclear or chemical ambition and extreme ideology.! )

The world must encourage the responsible leadership of the Arab world, which in turn should promote a new spirit of pragmatism and enlightened self-interest among their peoples. In a recent speech in Abu Dhabi, David Miliband pointed out that “Arab states can rein in the power of those groups which would seek to torpedo the process”. He also argued that “the Palestinians simply do not have enough on their own to offer the Israelis to clinch a deal”. Both Israel and the Palestinians will require a broad umbrella of regional support as they negotiate a settlement.

(Palestinians gave too much more, but the New Nazis Israeli’s did not give any).

The Saudis, Kuwaitis and other Gulf states could do more to encourage the Palestinians towards compromise. Instead of perpetuating unattainable fantasies that have long held back the Palestinian cause, they should help their Palestinian brethren set realistic, attainable goals. The international community should persuade the oil-rich Gulf countries to make more effective use of surplus revenues. One of the ironies blighting the Palestinians is that they receive far more support from the EU than from their supposedly concerned Arab brothers and sisters. Saudi Arabia has proved better at pledging than paying.

(Also the Israeli’s has to pay more for the Palestinians instead of paying more for the settlers of Palestinian’s  homes and lands, and paying more for importing Flasha’s, Russian’s and others to live in Palestinians lands and homes.)

Elsewhere in the Gulf, while flamboyant firework displays light up the skies above luxury resorts, precious little is done to prevent the rockets fired from Gaza. While petrol dollars boost the budget at Manchester City, it is time to spend more on the infrastructure of Ramallah than the wages of Robinho.

(Why to prevent the rockets from Gaza, to keep the thief’s of Palestinian’s lands, homes and tree in safe..! No mad person could accept it, in addition Israel is who must rebuild all the Infra structure in Palestinian Territories, it destroyed it.. and must build it)

The Arab initiative envisages peace between Israel and all 22 states of the Arab League, from Mauritania to Oman. To move that vision from rhetoric to reality, the wealthier Arab states must do more, politically, diplomatically and economically, to steer their less fortunate counterparts towards the path of moderation and progress.

(IF they do what you saying, but the Israeli’s giving Palestinians’ nothing, ..What Is the use..! Palestinians are moderated to progress, while the Israeli’s stocked in their places..!)

For too long the Middle East has been crippled, as Arab populations have been force-fed the lie that Israel’s destruction is both desirable and imminent. Today, as Iran continues to inject these poisonous concepts into the body of the region, the Middle East must abandon the mindset of the 1967 Khartoum conference and its infamous three noes.

(You are cheating your self, and lying on your self, It real that Israel destruction is both desirable and imminent…, do you feel that the Israeli’s crimes, ..can change this fact).

For the 21st century, three realities must instead be acknowledged: Israel exists, Israel belongs, and recognising Israel would be to the benefit of every Arab society. Everyone in the region with the ability to promote this understanding must be urged to do so.

(This is a lie, nobody in the world can acknowledge these three realities, who can acknowledge the reality of a theft, already might be existed, but nobody will accept it, accordingly, it (Israel) did not belong, in addition, recognizing a thief in the Arab tradition and culture is a shameful (as it is the case of all nations), and your people still recognized as thief’s. Furthermore, the clear truth is that if the Palestinian state is there exist, and Palestinians have given their rights, even the minimum acceptable part of it, both people, Palestinians and the New Israeli’s can work together for prosper, but the Israeli’s are so mad to the extent that they give nothing, don’t give any rights, which will increasingly speed the time of its demolishing. In addition to that, the existence of Israel is not accepted by any Arab society due to their sever crimes. You the Israeli’s have to proof that in practice no just say, and to proof it in good behavior and conduct, Israel has given more than 60 years until now, but unfortunately Israel provides and proved only the aggression and theft fact, for any Israeli  family personally might be living on my land or in my own house, which makes all your proposals not real and accordingly not accepted until you leave my land and home, then you may claims what you are saying  and this is the contents of Arab Peace Initiative for the Middle East).

Financial Tips For Women

On average, women live approximately seven years longer than men. But very often women never provide for themselves sufficiently to have enough money to live on, and being financially secure during those extra years.

Most women are up against more and different financial challenges than men. On average, they unfortunately still don’t earn as much as men do, and chances are that they are more likely to take time off during their careers to raise children. Furthermore, women tend to invest less than men do.

All this results in financial difficulties and hardship for many women later in life.

1. Most married women leave financial matters to their husbands. So, if you are married, don’t leave the financial planning to your husband alone. Because marriage should be a 50/50, or win-win situation anyway you must always stay involved as an equal.

As I already mentioned in a previous article that I wrote, never give control over your money to someone else! I can’t stress this enough. I’ve have seen people go down financially before my very eyes because of this fatal mistake. Lucky for one person that she’s my own mother! At least me and other family members can support her, because my father doesn’t.

She left all the finances in the hands of my father that unfortunately didn’t know the very first thing about controlling and handling money. He had absolutely no money management skills whatsoever.

And then they separated after 30 years and the financial downward spiral started.

If you’re not involved in your day-to-day family finances, you’re putting yourself at risk.

So if you’re married and you let your spouse handle all the financial matters, you’re at risk if your spouse dies or becomes seriously ill or if you divorce. Know the details of your family’s finances, investments, debts, retirement savings, etc. Discuss your savings options with your husband and learn your financial options.

Don’t turn your investments and financial affairs over to a broker or financial consultant either without keeping track of what is being done with your money and being involved in investment decisions. Never give control of your money to anyone else. NEVER!!!

By the rule of thumb men should save 10% of your gross income each year. Women however, should save at least 15%. This is to account for their longer life expectancy and the loss of salaries many women face when they raise their children.

Now I know that for many women 15% is a lot of money. It all boils down to money management again. To gain wealth and financial freedom, you should always “pay yourself first” and then live on what’s left and not spend first and save what’s left at the end of the month.

The The great Henry Ford once said:

”You don’t get rich by that what you earn. You get rich by what you don’t spend.”

If you’re a home-mom with only your husband working, you can open up a spousal IRA in your name. Your husband can contribute to it and you’ll both have more money during retirement.

2. Make sure that you have enough investments. Now I don’t necessarily mean stocks, options, futures or commodities. Depending on your knowledge about the stock market, these may not be suitable for you ‘cos they do bear certain risks. What I mean is having policies like mutual funds or life insurance to cover at least five years of income.
80 – 90% of all investments should be invested in secure and long-term policies!

Half of all marriages end in divorce, and three quarters of all women are eventually widowed. Good investment policies can also account for an unexpected illness or accident that can impair your finances. If your employer doesn’t offer it, obtain individual coverage youself. What is also a good idea is to have up to 3 monthly salaries stashed in your bank account that you can get hold of quickly…just in case!

3. Never cash in on retirement funds! To many people end up cashing in their retirement fund balances (whether it’s a 401 (k) or any other retirement plan) when they change jobs.

Still others take out loans against their balances, permanently reducing the amount of earnings they would have accumulated.

If you want to accumulate wealth, tax-deferred retirement plans like 401(k) plans are a great way to do it, but resist the urge to tap those funds before retirement ‘cos that’s not the idea of a retirement plan!

Also people that emigrate into another country cash in their retirement balance and wast it for things like the move, the flight into the new country, new furniture or a new car ‘cos the old one wasn’t worth taking along anymore, etc.

That’s not the idea of a retirement plan either! If you change countries you should know 2 things:

- Is it temporary…
- or it it permanently?

If it’s temporary, then leave your money where it is and let it grow earning interest.

If it’s permanently, then you can cash in whatever you’ve accumulated so far and reinvest it in another retirement plan in the country you’re now living in.

And if you have an even better idea…great! Well done! As long as you don’t squander you retirement plan flushing it down the drain!

All the best!

Ricky Schmidt

Ricky Schmidt’s website http://www.stockbreakthroughs.com was created out of frustration in trying to decode books, magazines and newsletters on the subject, which are supposed to be for beginners but are not because they’re too difficult to understand. Too many “Big Words” and too much intelligent sounding grammar is used which is not very useful.

What’s the Value of ‘ish’?

According to Webster’s:

-ish: of or belonging to -a specific nation or people; Irish- like or characteristic of; devilish, boyish- somewhat, rather; tallish, bluish, approximately, about; fiftyish.

The other day, while being entertained by Emily, three year old granddaughter of Brother Harold on my back porch where my office French Doors open onto, the phone rang. I heard a voice I did not recognize and a name I could not place leave a message that I should phone him immediately regarding “something” I did.

I excused myself from my company as I repented and prayed for illumination as to what the frig’ I had did.

He refused to say, and just repeated, “google my name” as I pleaded:

“What did I do? I am already sorry, just clue me in, have some mercy on me bro. My computer is on satellite, it is slow. Just tell me what I did, have mercy on me bro.”

“Do you call black people N——?”

“No,” I responded and thought, ‘but you just did!’

“Do you call Spanish people S—-?”

“No,” I responded and thought, ‘but you just did!’

“Then why did you say I was a Jew?”

“Aren’t you?”

He had taken offense at my ignorance of the affront of the lack of an ‘ish’ on his Jew. I grew up Catholic and never heard the word Catholicish. My Grandfather, a Polish Jew died before I could learn how many of our relatives were gassed and fried because good people did nothing for too very long. Maybe if ever had known him before he expired from esophageal varices-secondary to cirrhosis of the liver secondary to drinking too much, maybe then, I would have learned to include the ‘ish’ on every Jew.

Needless to say though, my Irish was up and flaming that this person I hadn’t crossed paths with since 2006 had emerged as an interruption into my life.

Did he ever consider an email with an explanation as to the “something” I had done and request of me what he wanted me to do about it?

What he wanted was for me to delete it completely! I tried to explain it is history and nobody but him probably even read it, but it is a great topic to blog about. I begged his forgiveness repeatedly, but he refused my heartfelt pleas, he insisted I delete ‘Jew’ for it lacked an ‘ish.’

He had no mercy on me at all, and my Irish temper erupted and I slew him with words. Suffice to say, he was clued in how he rudely interrupted my life which is about many things and foremost fueled by the fierce urgency of now; for what offends me is that NOT one journalist with access is asking any of the candidates where are they regarding the ongoing misery in Gaza, a shared Jerusalem, the rights of refugees, The Wall, the continuing settlements, the over 500 checkpoints that deny the indigenous people of that land the right to access their legally owned property, reach their families, jobs and holy sites in light of this historic year; the 60th anniversary of Israel, Al Nakba/The Disaster and the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights- upon which Israel’s very statehood was contingent upon. I cite but one Article; many others are also abused and denied by America’s best ally to the indigenous peoples of Israel Palestine.

Article 13.

(1) Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state.

(2) Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country.

A few hours after saying goodbye to Brother Harold and Emily, I received a left to the liver; news of a suspicious death of someone I have known, admired and been inspired by for nearly four years, Riad Hamad.

Riad’s lifeless body was dredged from an Austin, Texas lake, duct tape around his face and hands bound on April 15, 2008. [1]

The last phone call I had with Riad occurred two days after Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, regarding how he had been in his bathroom getting ready for work when the doorbell rang in his modest apartment in Austin, Texas and 18 Federal Agents with guns entered and occupied his sanctuary.

Riad was one of the first people I met after I became a civilian journalist and activist for equal human rights and justice for all. Over the nearly last four years Riad had been inspiration, friend, brother and comrade in helping the neediest of children of occupied Palestine. His family, students and international supporters have joined in our mourning more committed to PCWF/Palestine Children’s Welfare Fund, and Riad had been the visionary, founder, coordinator and connector.

It was through Riad that I also met many other passionate advocates and volunteers driven by the pursuit of justice; equal human rights and compassionate hearts. Riad knitted together a global community after he moved to America from Beirut where he had lived not far from the Palestinian refugee camps. He witnessed their hardships, and driven by compassion for the least and most oppressed, decided to extend his help to enable his Arab compatriots seek justice; human rights, such as their Right of Return to their homes and land or receive agreed upon just compensation.

Riad and PCWF had been investigated immediately after 9/11 by homeland security and no evidence of wrongdoing had been found. However, on February 27th about 18 FBI and IRS agents bearing guns and a search warrant from Judge Robert Pittman, [well known for his hostility to Palestinians and Arabs and with whom Riad has had previous experience with] searched every nook and cranny of his apartment.

They left with more than forty boxes of papers, files, computers, his daughter’s childhood diaries, CDs and an ounce and a half of catnip.

No charges were filed at the time against Riad and he was not arrested, but the investigators claim they had probable cause to investigate wire fraud, bank fraud and money laundering.

Riad had been a tireless advocate for Palestinians, and most especially the women and children living in the occupied West Bank, Gaza and Lebanon. He created the Palestine Children’s Welfare Fund a humanitarian enterprise that has raised millions of dollars to provide for the basic needs of Palestinian children and their schools, to assist other charitable organizations and the hospitals.

On April 21, 2008, I spoke with Paul Larudee, the last person Riad spoke to before his demise and also the Treasurer and Grants Administrator of PCWF. I learned that among the items carted off by the FBI and IRS were those belonging to another person who had requested their return weeks ago in order to do their taxes.

A bureaucrat told them, “Oh, we haven’t even gotten around to any of that yet!”

Riad’s exit from this world will not silence his voice; for everyone who knew him is even more committed to PCWF now, and Riad’s hands that only did good will not be bound.

Before his demise, Riad found replacements for every job except for filling the orders for West Bank merchandize and sending them out, through the Austin, Texas warehouse.

Paul wrote on April 23, 2008:

All except the sales portion of PCWF is now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in California. Riad and I set it in February. Of course, the sales portion was the biggest part, generating more than a million dollars and creating jobs for lots of Palestinians. However, unless someone wants to do what Riad was doing to receive, store and ship the items, I fear that only donations will help keep the projects in Palestine going.

Husam will be sending me a report on the needs of the projects in Palestine and I will be funding them through the account. The address for donations is listed on the website, and folks can also donate via PayPal @ http://www.pcwf.org/

I met Husam in Bethlehem, in June 2005 when he worked with Holy Land Trust one of the coordinating charities dedicated to nonviolent resistance to the occupation following in the footsteps of Jesus, Gandhi and King.

I met Paul in July 2005, while in Berkeley attending TIKKUN’S [Hebrew for heal, mend, transform the world] first conference for Spiritual Progressives.

Riad, an Arab Muslim, helped the Christian population of occupied Palestine by exporting their crafts and oil and were paid good wages. Everyone connected with PCWF were volunteers compelled by compassionate hearts to help the least and most forgotten in the turmoil of 40 years of military occupation; the children and women. Riad remembered and helped them more than anyone did.

The death of this great American is directly connected to the years of harassment and racism he endured.

And I can’t help but wonder about the depth of Riad’s pain and the loss to the world his dramatic exit has made in light of how an American Jewish book reviewer read racism into my ignorant lack of an ‘ish.’

It is most puzzling to me, as he had read nothing in KEEP HOPE ALIVE or on my website that gave him any reason to believe I was anti-Jewish or anti-Semitic. It was only the lack of three letters that caused him distress.

I had hoped he would converse with me on my blog upon my faux paux, but he wanted me to delete it entirely! He insisted I erase the “Jew” that lacked an ‘ish’ on a BTW type of comment I made nearly three months prior.

This particular book reviewer had originally contacted me in 2006 after reading a copy of my first book, KEEP HOPE ALIVE that he just so happened to pick up in our mutual dentist’s office three days prior. I just so happened to have left three copies of KEEP HOPE ALIVE in the waiting room and he just so happened to be a book reviewer who read it and liked it. He wrote a review that I liked too and was most grateful for. He told me then, I was free to use it in any way I desired. I thanked him and still do.

But last week, after he had googled his name he was led to “something” I did, in the posting of a PS to a comment on January 7, 2008 on a thread begun by “Culture Dove” on a site I haven’t visited since shortly there after:

[2] What’s the Value of a Tree?

Submitted by Culture Dove on Mon, 01/07/2008 – 19:05.

On the first episode of the short-lived television series, Joan of Arcadia, Joan has an encounter with a young man whom she comes to realize is God in the flesh. She tries putting him on the spot by asking, “So how about a miracle?” In response, the young man points to a tree and simply says, “There.” “But that is just a tree,” says the unimpressed Joan. She is silenced by the reply, “You try making one.”

…Whether your faith is in the God of creation or the wisdom of science (or both), we all need to begin to find our place in the web of life and live accordingly.

MY COMMENT:

more on trees

Submitted by www.wearewideaw… on Mon, 01/07/2008 – 21:57.

The Olive Tree is sacred to ALL three branches of Father Abraham’s offspring’s, for we all share the story of the dove who returned to Noah with the olive branch of peace.

Over one million olive trees have been plowed down and destroyed by the illegal Apartheid Wall in the ‘Holy’ Land which is in pieces; bantustans.

The olive tree is not just a tree to Palestinians; it is their life!

They name the trees that will live for centuries if not plowed down.

They feed their children the fruit of the trees and make oil, soap and wood crafts and nothing is ever wasted.

THAT DAY we call 9/11 inspired a 1948 refugee from the Galilee to found the non-profit OLIVE TREES FOUNDATION FOR PEACE dedicated to raising awareness of the abomination of the secular state of Israel that has been raping the holy land; [+with hope to TIKKUN; heal, mend, transform the world] by providing the funds to replant 3 year old olive tree saplings.

So far, the OTFFP has rooted over 30,000 trees on BOTH side of The Wall.

The first of my five journeys into Israel Palestine resulted in writing “KEEP HOPE ALIVE”.

This tale is a fictionalized retelling of the well remembered memoirs of Dr. Diab, the 1948 Muslim refugee from the Upper Galilee who made his way to the USA and realized the American dream.

After a lucrative career in the Defense Industry during the Cold War and THAT DAY we call 9/11, Khaled Diab brought together American Jews, Christians and Muslims to respond to evil with good by founding the 501 3-c Olive Trees Foundation for Peace.

“Keep Hope Alive” tells his story and is an historical chronology with connections to antiquity, and hope for the future.

“Keep Hope Alive” is a 100% FUND RAISING vehicle for OTFFP and is also my spiritual journey told through six fictional characters who represent six ways to intuit God.

Book Reviewer from www.midwestbookreview.com:

“At first I thought this had something to do with the famous line of Jessie Jackson. I’m delighted to say it is much, much more. The author shows that there are many people from all over the world who are moving in the right direction to establish peace in the Middle East. The organization Olive Trees Foundation for Peace/OTFFP is Arabs, Jews, and Christians who have formed a non profit non political group who have one goal; to have Israelis and Palestinians live side by side in peace.

“These are people from all walks of life who are committed to changing the area into a peaceful region. Social movements like this grow until finally government jumps on-board. This is so counter to the policies of the Bush administration. As dialogue continues to grow on this subject government will be forced to rethink its approach to the region. This is a book that should be read by anyone does not believe there can be peace in the Middle East. It should also be included in schools and on the college level to help focus on how the area can move toward peace.” –

PS-[my dentist's staff told me the book reviewer was] a Jew who picked up a copy of my book- his review was unsolicited and only by an act of God did we cross paths.

When I wrote Jew without the ‘ish’ it never crossed my mind that it would be construed as disrespectful in anyway to any Jewish person. My intent had purely been to provoke and invite my sisters and brothers in Christ at Crossleft, a reported to be progressive Christian site to literally extend the olive branch of hope and peace to Israel Palestine..

I had first crossed paths with Crossleft just days after my third of five trips to occupied territory. Anyone who has witnessed life under occupation understands how it gets under your skin and you cannot bear the injustices and the pain in your gut and grief at your own complicity in it, just for being a USA tax payer.

But, after nearly two years of pleading with my sisters and brothers at Crossleft, to wake up and connect with their sisters and brothers in Christ and cousins in Israel Palestine, and getting nowhere, I brushed the dust off of my feet months ago and bid them all a peace filled bye bye.

“The walls of pride are high and wide, you can’t see over to the other side.”-Bob Dylan

I have cried over Riad and sighed over this issue of ‘ish’ and have been led to feel only pity.

Pity, the book reviewer who found nothing anti-Jewish or anti-Semitic or even anti-Zionist in KEEP HOPE ALIVE, or my website, but felt such pain for the lack of my ‘ish”.

Pity the world the loss of Riad and American Christianity for missing opportunities to connect with their roots in the land where Jesus promised it will be the peacemakers who shall be called the children of God; not those who bomb, starve or occupy another.
